Though Provoking Use Of Math

This is a though provoking book by Cathy O Neil. Cathy is a data scientist and she runs the blog mathbebe.org. After earning a Ph.D. in math from Harvard she taught at Barnard College. She also has experience in the private sector working for a hedge fund company. She worked as a data scientist at various start – ups, building models that predict people’s purchases and clicks. She then went ahead and started the Lede Program in Data Journalism at Columbia. She is currently a columnist for Bloomberg View.

The book shed light on data analysis and how the incorrect use of data can cause harm to all of us. The book is presented in an easy to understand manner. The world we live in is changing at an exponential rate and this book is a must for everyone to understand the changes and the effects that come with it using data analysis.

You can buy this book from Amazon.

I highly recommend this book to better understand the current situations using data analysis and math.
